Tempered Glass
The glass transformation process by thermal treatment is divided into two phases:
· Heating of glass at high temperature
· Quick cooling by blowing cool air
Advantages :
· Resisting impact five times more than ordinary glass.
· Resisting bending.
· Resisting heat stress and withstanding temperature difference up to 200° C.
· In case of breaking, the tempered glass will break in small pieces reducing the risk of cutting.
